What's new in the garden?

July, 1999

The pergola is complete, the grapes are climbing and morning coffee on the patio is ever so pleasant.

The vegetable garden is so lush when we've had both warm weather and enough rain.

The gardener himself!

These charming fellas were found on our grapes. They are appropriately named Spotted grape vine beetles, Pelidnota punctata. The Vermont Master Gardener Program helped identify them for us. What a great service for Vermont gardeners!
