Duo was a war orphan, one day he bumped into Father Maxwell and later on Father Maxwell took him in along with the other war orphans. Inside the Maxwell Church is where Duo meets Sister Helen. Duo loved them for taking him in, but one day when Duo was out trying to save the church the Alliance attacked it and leveled it, when Duo returned Father Maxwell was dead and Sister Helen could only live for a while longer, befor she died she said to Duo"M-May you...have God's Blessing..." and died.

The Origin Of The Name "The God Of Death"

When the MAxwell church was destroyed Duo meet Dr.___when he was captured by 2 soldiers and so the good doctor asked him how he go in and he siad it was a secret, from then on the Doctor was interested in Duo. He says " Ha ha, you're an interesting kid." Duo replies "I'm no kid! My name is Duo Maxwell, who may run and hide, but never tells a lie." The doctor says " Maxwell...? heh, heh Like Maxwell's Demon, eh?" Duo replied "Nope, not just a demon. I'm the God Of Death."

Another reason is that everyone around Duo has died. Sister Helen, Father Maxwell and many more, but the one that I know the most about is a young boy that Duo meet when the Maxwell church was destroyed, this young boy became Duo's close friend but he was also killed, and so on. So.. Duo calls himself the "God Of Death" because people around him are always dieing.

Trowa grew up without parents. He has piloted Mobile Suits ever since he was a young boy, or since he knew which buttons to press. Trowa was neglected as a child for working with the mercenaries at the age of four but he went beyond a normal silent child, he was neglected both physically and mentaly.

There isn't really an answer to Trowa Barton's mystery, were not even sure of his name but there has been rumours that he is the lost younger brother of Catherine Bloom because they both share the same tragice story of losing a brother(Catherine) and a sister(Trowa)because of war, but no one is really sure whether or not they are truly related. But in Trowa's version on Episode Zero it was said that he is trult Catherine's lost brother and that his real name is Trilton Bloom

The Cross

The cross that we see Trowa wearing in some of the images and pictures found on other sites is (what I beleive)a item he keeps with himself to keep himself reminded of Middie Une the young girl who fell in love with him years ago. The true origin of the cross was that it was a gaget that Middie gave him that was used to follow Trowa's every move on and off the battlefields.

The Maganac

The Maganacs are loyal towards Quatre because when Quatre was younger he saved their leader: Rasid. Thy were being attacked by the Alliance because they were betrayed by a man named Yuda, and guess who caught him??Quatre. However, he freed himself cause the ropes weren't tied properly, well as soon he was free he went after with a gun Rasid and Quatre being so innocent and always blaming himself for everything stepped infront of Rasid trying to block the bullet, but the bullet passed through him and into Rasid (from what I beleive) both of them were hurt and Rasid couldn't pilot his Mobile suit.

Quatre wanting to prove himself took Racisd's place. Making quick moves and stratigic thinking beat most of them, then he told them to retreat and let him face the rest alone so that the others amy go to Earth, the Maganacs wouldn't hear of it, but Rasid made them do it and said " If all 39 of us make it to Earth...we owe it to that gentleman." "We maganac owe our lives to that gentleman. From now on, we call him Master Quatra."

The Mystery Behind the Goggles

Quatre wears the goggles for a reason, not as a fashion statment but because the first time he went into battle for The Maganac he was given Rasid's goggles and from then on he's worn them as a motivation for him to do the best in battle and to save as many as he can.
