Tattoos
Profound words of
wisdom:
"Always go for the fat, tattooed women. Heat in the winter,
shade in the summer and moving pictures all year 'round"
I got my first tattoo at the ripe old age of 33 after having been fascinated by them for many years and always wanting one. Then I met Brian, who just happened to be a tattooist. He gave me my first ink and it was done the good old-fashioned way with a homemade gun consisting of a ballpoint pen, an ordinary sewing needle, a small motor and a bottle of indian ink.
Oddly enough it says
"Brian" in chinese. The translation came from the GoodOrient website.. Funny story though,
we printed the characters out and traced them onto greasproof
paper, and Brian copied that onto my skin....unfortunately until
afterwards I didnt think about the fact that we actually put it
on in reverse image, therefore who knows what the characters say
in reverse??????
Below is my first professional tattoo, and if you've visited the rest of my site you would understand why I chose this image. It's not finished yet and has taken 2 hours to get this far. Done at Skinks Tattoo Studio, Hamilton New Zealand by Nadine Bryant.
I haven't found many other egyptian tattoos..but here are some links that might be of help:
