| lincoln woods, ri i guess if you live around here you've probably been to lincoln woods. but have you ventured outside of the loop road? in the summer i've seen people lined up to climb friction rock and once you hike in to lost crag, or goat rock you don't see a soul. so get around, explore, but leave the chalk at home! now for my first and only rant. NO MORE CHALK. walk up the road towards the heart boulder, you'll have no problems finding it, it's the one that looks like someone's spray painted white spots all over it. i think i can do better than that, next time i'll bring my kids colored sidewalk chalk and color code the climbs! but seriously, it's one thing to see a few chalk marks, but does every possible grip have to be coated with chalk?
