Letter to send to your elected representative!

Dear

I am concerned about your lack of action in regard to the environment and thus the future of the globe. We are in an environmental crisis and you do not seem to be aware of it. I feel that your inaction shows that you do not consider our future a priority. I do not see how I could support you in the future or encourage my friends, acquaintances or peers to do so either. The current state of the environment is reparable if people in positions of power( such as you) make it a priority and actively work towards this end. I hope that I am able to support you in the coming election as an individual who is environmental aware and capable of making changes that reflect this awareness. I feel that if you continue to reflect a lack of concern for the future then I will have to support your resignation from office or at least the election of another candidate.

To make positive changes will not be easy but nothing really important is. Here in North America we are directly and indirectly responsible for the majority of pollution( over 70% of all air pollution), deforestation, species extinction, global warming and destitution present throughout the planet.

I feel that you are capable of making steps to substantially reduce these problems

. That is my reason for writing to you. Please show through sparked, or renewed, action that you do consider the environment a priority and are willing to act on your convictions.

Sincerely,
