My Favorite character of all time!
Nickname: Ratboy
        Alex Krycek is portrayed by the actor: Nicholas Lea. He started out in the episode Sleepless. Alex Krycek appeared to be just another rookie agent in the bureau, helping Mulder in the X-files. However, things are never what they seem, in the end of the episode, it was revealed that Alex Krycek is working for the conspiracy.
        Then in the second part of the two parter "Duanne Barry / Ascension", He murdered the Tram Operator and delayed Mulder so that he couldn't get to Scully in time to save her. Then, when they apprehended Duanne Barry, Krycek sneaked into Duanne's holding room and poisoned him. The next day, Krycek disappeared.
        Krycek re-appears in Anasazi, he's seen in the bathroom window of Bill Mulder  and then the scene cuts outside and we all hear a gunshot and Bill Mulder is dead. No one knows if it's Krycek that killed Mulder's dad or not, but no one has solid proof.
        He then appears in "The Blessing Way" where he and Luis Cardinal are supposed to assassinate Dana Scully  but instead, Luis Cardinal shot Melissa Scully. And somewhere in between, he got trapped in a car bomb by CSM but luckily, he escaped.
        Then, he appears in Paper Clip, where he calls CSM and tells him that he'll be someplace where CSM won't find him.
        Then, he appears in the two-parter, Piper Maru / Apocrypha. He was found in Hong Kong where he murdered Jeraldine, a woman whom Mulder was talking to at that time. Then, he escapes to the Hong Kong airport only to meet up with Mulder again and gets the beating of his lifetime. Then when he goes to the bathroom to wash up, he gets infected by the black oil. In Apocrypha, he drives Mulder to the DC locker to get the Tape but then they get run off the road by a dark sedan. Krycek is saved by the airbag but Mulder's head hits the windshield. Two men came and one of them went by Mulder's side and another one went to Krycek and forces Krycek to tell him where the tape is. When one of the men and Krycek went behind a pillar, there was a scream and a bright light. The other man went to investigate and Mulder regains partial consciousness just in time to hear another scream but loses consciousness again. Krycek, who's infected by the black oil at the time, agrees to trade the tape for a UFO. Then, he is seen locked up in a missile silo spitting out the black oil and it seeps into the UFO in the silo. The scene ends with poor Krycek locked in the silo screaming for help.
        Krycek appeared again in another two parter, Tunguska/Terma. He sent Mulder receipts for people selling explosives which led to his capture by Mulder. Krycek explains that he escaped from the missile silo by this group on a salvage hunt. He then leads Mulder and Scully to a diplomat who is carrying the black oil, while escaping from Mulder, the diplomat drops a pouch which contains a black rock. Mulder then puts Krycek in Skinner's hands, Skinner beats up Krycek and cuffs him to the balcony. Then, the diplomat guy comes in Skinner's apartment and starts searching it. When the courrier reaches the balcony, he was pulled off by Krycek who was hanging outside the balcony railing at that time. Then, after Mulder gets a tip, he brings Krycek along with him to Tunguska Russia to act as a translator. There, they both get caught into a camp of some sort where they test out the black oil on humans. While Mulder was being injected by the black oil, Krycek somehow got out. Later when Mulder found out that Krycek betrayed him again, he vows to kill Krycek. He gets his chance soon and drives away in a truck with an unconscious Krycek in the back of it. Then, sensing something's wrong, Krycek jumps off the truck just when Mulder drives it into a ditch. Unfortunately for Krycek, he gets captured again but by a different group of people. They believed they were protecting Krycek when they cut off his left arm. *ouch* so now, he wears a prosthetic under the leather jacket. Then, he disappeared for a while again, although that's perfectly understandable, I mean, come on! the guy  lost his arm! :(
        We next saw Krycek in Patient X/The Red and the black. He kidnapped a boy named Dmitri who was the only eye witness to a horrible mass burning. He infected Dmitri with the black oil to prevent him from talking to anyone else but then, Marita Covarrubias stole Dmitri away but got infected by the black oil in the process. The Syndicate demanded the cure for the black oil from Krycek and got it to save Marita, I have no idea why. Then, he decides to tip off Mulder to the military turning over the alien rebels. After that, he disappeared again.
        And the last we saw of Krycek so far is in the season finale "The End". He merely acted as a chaffeur to WMM. Why is he working for the  syndicate again? No one knows for sure. I hope things clear up in the 6^th Season. So far, Alex Krycek has been a real survivor, I really wish CC would make things easier for the poor guy.
