Map Reveal removes the shroud (black, unexplored territory) from a map, so both players can see the whole map while playing it.
To remove Map Reveal on a map:
1. Load the map in the Red Alert editor, Click save, Select the map and rename it, Then save.
Saving a map in the Red Alert editor removes all codes you add to a map.
To add Map Reveal to a map:
Go to your Red Alert folder and open the map with a standard
text editor such as notepad.
Then delete the Digest at the bottom.
It looks like this:
[Digest]
1=pQF7VaDQXVbS6FYm8sKcICh15VU=
Replace it with this code:
[Trigs]
Reveal1=0,12,0,1,8,-1,0,0,-1,0,16,-1,-1,-1,19,-1,-1,-65425
Now save
Note: This map has to send to the other player each time you play it, because it doesn't
have the digest, but it will not work if you have the digest. Remember to restart Red
Alert after switching from maps with codes to standard maps. Example:
If your playing A Path Beyond Map Reveal and then you go play a tournament game you might get an error.
