KUALA LUMPUR, May 6 (AFP) - Malaysia's top bank, Malayan Banking Bhd. Thursday said it will cut its base lending rate to 7.25 percent from 7.65 percent. Maybank in a statement said the new rates would be effective Friday.
The bank also said it had last revised its base lending rate on April 10, cutting the rate from 7.80 percent to 7.65 percent.
