MIGUEL AYESA: CHRISTMAS CAROLER & OTHERS, ANGEL UNDERSTUDY MiG... what can I say? His solo in "Seasons of Love" was truly truly memorable. He hits this incredibly high note (for a male) which made people double back and wonder "Who is this guy?".
MiG's facial expressions as the homeless person was truly wonderful as well... he looked as if he really was homeless as he had this realistic frown on his face, and even in the middle of summer, in that coat... he made you feel as if it was freezing cold. The charisma of this guy on stage is spectacular! MiG truly is a wonderful performer and was greatly greatly missed when he left RENT to join the cast of FAME in late June 1999. |

NATALIE BASSINGTHWAIGHTE: MARKS MUM & OTHERS, MAUREEN UNDERSTUDY Natalie sounds exactly like the girl who plays Mark's Mom, from the original broadway cast!!!!!!!!!
Natalie is a quiet person, who doesn't attract a lot of attention. That doesn't mean to say that we don't adore her though! Natalie has a beautiful voice, and apparently she was a really funny Maureen... I wish I could have seen that! |

FIONA CHOI: SWING, MAUREEN UNDERSTUDY CHOI ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fiona is a favourite of my friends Dan, Matt, Ha and Karen. We think that she totally totally rocks! Her and Ha are twins *in looks anyhow* and she even calls Ha "MY TWIN!"
Performance wise, I've seen Fiona play Alexi Darling and the Seasons Soloist. I absolutely ADORE her Alexi Darling!!! It's fantastic!!! She pauses for just the right amount of time before saying "JUST KIDDING". If you hadn't seen it before, you'd swear she was going to leave it at "Marky Sell Us Your Soul"... it's hillarious. And even her facial expressions and body stature at the time is funny! Fiona is a classic! As far as Seasons went... well it's no secret that Prinnie is my fave Seasons soloist... but let me tell you... I don't mind hearing Fiona singing it either! I was by NO means disappointed...and she puts a lot of energy into it too. Fiona's bubbly personality was a credit to the Australian Cast of RENT! |
