CLIFTON OLIVER: CHRISTMAS CAROLER &OTHERS, BENNY UNDERSTUDY Now Clifton would have to be one of my favourite people in the whole entire world! He is a very loving, compassionate and affectionate person who was a pleasure to get to know!
Performance wise Clifton was just as fantastic! Though I never saw him as Benny...I did see about thirty different people ask him for his autograph thinking he was Fred Jones...god knows why! He's nothing like Fred! But apparently Clifton was a great Benny. I must admit that I was heartbroken when MiG left the show, and really didn't want to see anyone take over his role. But one performance from Clifton made me see that even though his performance was TOTALLY different to MiG's *ie- he doesn't hit the high note in Seasons* it was just as good! Clifton was also FANTASTIC in La Vie Boheme and I would spend that entire song, just watching him, waiting to see his next facial expression or silly dance! He was wonderful to watch. Clifton has an amazing voice and I hope that he continues to do great things with it now that he's returned to the States. Clifton, God's given you an amazing gift honey...look how much you've touched me... don't be afraid to USE it! Hope to hear from you soon! |

JUSTIN SMITH: MARK Justin was the height of professionalism 100% of the time.
Justin was an absolutely spectacular singer, and his version of "Halloween" sent shivers up my spine. Justin was also an astounding actor, who totally fulfilled my every expectation of who Mark is. It was as though he took what was in my mind and performed it out on stage. Truly spectacular. There is NO DOUBT in my mind that Justin was made for the part of Mark, and I totally and utterly applaud the casting agents for their choice for the role of Mark. His role in the ABC TV Series "Queen Kat, Carmel & St Jude" was amazing as well...and had rent-heads tuned into the ABC for five weeks in a row! Well done Justin! Justin is now shooting a film, and I look forward to seeing you in it Justin! |

MICHELLE SMITH: MAUREEN Michelle was Maureen to a T! Totally and utterly fantastic in every way. Her Over The Moon was spectacular especially when she gets the crowd involved...it was difficult NOT to Moo with her!
Then in La Vie Boheme she would keep the contact with the audience and point to members of the front row during the "To You and You and You, You and YOU!" It was great. Michelle surprised a lot of people with her vocal ability too. Her "Take Me or Leave" me was fantastic. Michelle is flying over to the States soon and we wish her ALL the VERY best! |
