Opening Snide Remarks: The only reason that I bought this game is because it 
was cheap.  I had read that this game was horrible, but I bought it anyway.

Gameplay Description: NHL All-Star Hockey '98 is a very slow paced hockey 
game.  The game moves along almost at a snail's pace.  The players are very 
slow and move poorly, but for some reason, it's still plays a decent game of 
hockey.  Every usual option is present, but the slow gameplay really hinders
how much fun you can have with this game. 
Liked: Decent hockey gameplay.
Hated: Slow gameplay.

Graphics Description: NHL ASH98 looks pretty good.  The game features the 
usual Saturn hazy polygons.  The players are extremely slow, but it's not 
becuase of lost of stuff us happening.  The game is just slow.  Anyways, the
graphics aren't pretty, but they get the job done.
Liked: Nothing.
Hated: Slow players.

Sound/Music Description: The music is great.  The music is a hard-rocking 
style.  This fits this game well.  The sound fx are okay, but there's no 
play-by-play announcers.
Liked: Great music.
Hated: No play-by-play announcers.

Play Control/Game Design: The controls are confusing and don't respond very 
well.  The game design is good, this game has all of the options that you 
could want.  Too bad options don't make a game. 
Liked: Lots of options.
Hated: Horrible controls.

Final Words: If you're a hockey fanatic, then NHL All-Star Hockey '98 will 
satisfy you.  If you want a great hockey game, then look elsewhere.
