WWF Attitude Game by Acclaim Reviewed by Robby Cox koi@magicnet.net Save: Password Released: 1999 Works with: Game Boy Color Only **************************************************************************** Opening Snide Remarks: With the console versions of this game being delayed over and over, this version of WWF Attitude is the only version available. Do I think that it's any good? Read on to find out. **************************************************************************** Gameplay Description: If you played WWF War Zone for the Game Boy, then you've essentially played this game. The music and graphics are better, but the game is almost exactly the same. If you didn't play that game, then this game is pretty fun. There are lots of gameplay options including a standard championship mode, career mode, steel cage matches, tag team matches, versus mode, and there are even biographies of your favorite mat stars. These are cool, but this game should have seen a few more gameplay additions. Liked: This game's better than War Zone. Hated: This game's not much better than War Zone. **************************************************************************** Graphics Description: This game looks nice. The wrestlers look like they should. They are very coloful and really look great. This game moves at a nice pace. This game just looks good. Liked: Good graphics. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Sound/Music Description: This game sounds great. The music is nice, but it sounds rather bluesy. The sound fx are good. Liked: Cool music. Hated: It doesn't exactly fit the subject matter. **************************************************************************** Play Control/Game Design: Attitude controls well. The controls are responsive, but the CPU is a little too good. You will get rather frustrated when you get beat. Liked: Good controls. Hated: CPU is way too good. **************************************************************************** Improve: Dumb down the CPU. RIYL: WWF War Zone, WCW/nWo Revenge(N64), WWF War Zone(N64) **************************************************************************** Final Words: WWF Attitude will quench your WWF thirst for a while. At least until WWF Attitude for the consoles is released. This game won't disappoint you, but you won't be trading in your N64 wrestling games for GB wrestling games any time soon. **************************************************************************** Score Gameplay: **** Graphics: **** Sound/Music: **** Play Control/Game Design: **** Personal Opinion: **** Total: 20 out of 25 Final Score: 80 % **************************************************************************** Currently Known Codes: None.
