Bases Loaded Game by Jaleco Reviewed by Robby Cox koi@magicnet.net Save: Password Released: 1988 Works with: N/A **************************************************************************** Opening Snide Remarks: Bases Loaded was the best NES baseball game. I really used to love this game. Will I still? **************************************************************************** Gameplay Description: Bases Loaded is a pretty solid baseball game. It has pretty much every option that you would want. The game has a unique camera perspective. This was the first baseball game that I know of that had a behind the pitcher perspective. My only gripe are that it's a little too tough to field because the players are slow. Liked: Solid baseball gameplay. Hated: Slow fielders. **************************************************************************** Graphics Description: Bases Loaded looks really good. The NES graphics still look good today. The players are pretty large and are well detailed. Liked: Good graphics. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Sound/Music Description: Bases Loaded has some good music. It's organ music like you would hear at the game, but it rattles on incessantly. The sound fx are good. Liked: Good music. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Play Control/Game Design: Bases Loaded controls pretty well. The game design is good, too. Liked: Good controls. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Improve: A polygon update to this game would be great. RIYL: Super Bases Loaded(SNES), All-Star Baseball series. **************************************************************************** Final Words: Bases Loaded is still a pretty solid baseball game. If you would want a NES baseball game, then this game is for you. **************************************************************************** Score Gameplay: *** Graphics: *** Sound/Music: *** Play Control/Game Design: *** Personal Opinion: *** Total: 15 out of 25 Final Score: 60 % **************************************************************************** Currently Known Codes: None.
