Casper Game by Natsume Reviewed by Robby Cox koi@magicnet.net Size: Save: None Released: 1996 Works with: all Gameboy models Opening Snide Remarks: I hope Casper is a Gameboy version of the Super NES, Playstation, and Saturn game. Gameplay: Don't be duped. This has nothing to do with the multi-platform Casper game. This game is nothing more than 4 hastily thrown together mini- games. It contains a Lode-Runner type of game, an Incredible Machine type of game, a fire (Game & Watch) type of game, and a Missile Command type of game with Casper thrown in. The Lode Runner game is alright, but you can only play it once, then you have to play the other games. Graphics: The graphics are about the only thing going for this game. The cinema screens that introduce the game are excellent. The rest of the game has a mix of decent graphics(Lode Runner, Incredible Machine, Missile Command) but the Fire Type of game has large, well-defined graphics. Sound: Pretty good sound, everything sounds like it should. Music: Casper contains some pretty standard upbeat videogame music. It kind of has a pop feel to it. Play Control: Casper has good enough control to keep you playing, but the Missile Command game needs some serious work. Final Analysis: Only buy this game if you find it extremely cheap. I only paid 10 bucks for and I still feel like I got screwed. Score Gameplay: ** Graphics: *** Sound: ** Music: *** Play Control: ** Total: 12 out of 25 Final Score: 48% Currently Known Codes: None
