This game is basically just more of the same. This game has all new puzzles and all new levels. The graphics have been significantly upgraded. The game is fun for Doom vets and newbies, but if you're tired of the Doom formula, then you should look elsewhere. Liked: Classic Doom gameplay. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Graphics Description: Doom 64 has some of the best sprite graphics that you will find on any game console. The graphics are colorful and the characters are large and well-detailed. The backgrounds look great, as well. Liked: Great graphics. Hated: No polygons. **************************************************************************** Sound/Music Description: The music of Doom 64 is basically just ambient sounds. This definitely gives this game a spooky feel. The sound fx are great, as well. Liked: Spooky music. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Play Control/Game Design: Doom 64 has excellent controls. The controls are easy to learn, but they seem laid out a little strangely. They can be customized, though. The game design is great, but if you don't care for the Doom series, you won't be impressed with this one. Liked: Good controls. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Improve: See the Quake series to see how this series evolved. RIYL: Quake, Quake II, Doom, Doom II, Final Doom. **************************************************************************** Final Words: Doom 64 is one of the best first-person shooters available on any system. Like I said, if you don't like Doom, you won't like this. It's amazing for FPS fans. Check it out. **************************************************************************** Score Gameplay: ***** Graphics: **** Sound/Music: **** Play Control/Game Design: **** Personal Opinion: ***** Total: 22 out of 25 Final Score: 88 % **************************************************************************** Currently Known Codes: None.
