Final Fantasy Legend Game by Square Reviewed by Robby Cox koi@magicnet.net Size: Save: Battery with 1 slot Released: 1989 Works with: All Gameboy versions **************************************************************************** Opening Snide Remarks: FFL is another in the long line of Final Fantasy games. I had heard that this game was a classic, so I bought it. **************************************************************************** Gameplay Descripion: FFL is pretty much your standard RPG. You talk to characters, gain experience in battles, and embark on side-quests. Liked: The side-quests make sense. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Graphics Description: FFL has some very first-generation visuals, but then again it was a first-gen game. The characters are short and squatty. The main map is cool looking, though. Liked: The main map. Hated: Short, squatty characters. **************************************************************************** Sound/Music Description: FFL has some pretty good music. It's the standard RPG-type music. The sound fx are good as well. Liked: Good music. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Play Control/Game Design: FFL controls very well. The menu screens are confusing to navigate, though. The design is pretty good with a rather realistic quest. Liked: Good controls. Hated: Confusing menus. **************************************************************************** Improve: More intuitive menus. RIYL: any Final Fantasy game, any Zelda game. **************************************************************************** Final Words: FFL is a great game that any RPG fan would love. It's a very cool game, but it's not as good as Zelda: Link's Awakening. **************************************************************************** Score Gameplay: **** Graphics: ** Sound/Music: **** Play Control/Game Design: **** Personal Opinion: **** Total: 18 out of 25 Final Score: 72 % **************************************************************************** Currently Known Codes: None
