Save: Password Released: 1999 Works with: Game Boy Color Only **************************************************************************** Opening Snide Remarks: Logical is a cool puzzler that is very flawed. Read on to find out how. **************************************************************************** Gameplay Description: Logical is an enjoyable little puzzler in which you try to make matches of 4 like colored marbles in each gear. This is fun. The only problem is that when you make a match, the marbles disappear and there's nothing to note which gears you have completed. This leads to having to complete gears again and again until you finally complete the ones you forgot about. This sucks! Why couldn't they have have placed an X on the gears that have been completed? Why couldn't they just change the colors of the completed gears? Other than that, this is a fun little puzzler that is seriously flawed. Liked: Core gameplay is fun. Hated: Having to try to complete random gears to finish a level. **************************************************************************** Graphics Description: The graphics are good, but the only reason that this game is GBC only is because color is a huge part of the puzzle equations. A regular GB could have done a B&W version of this game with say shapes instead of colors. The level complete screens look really nice, though. Liked: Colorful graphics. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Sound/Music Description: The music is okay, but you won't find yourself humming it later. The sound fx are okay, as well. Liked: Everything. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Play Control/Game Design: Logical controls very nicely. The controls are simple and feel right. The game design is bad because of the aforementioned problem. Liked: Great controls. Hated: Poor game design. **************************************************************************** Improve: Fix the completed gear problem. RIYL: Tetris, Brain Draim, Tetris Attack. **************************************************************************** Final Words: This game's kinda fun, but unless you want to do the same few levels over and over, you will need to keep some paper handy to map out which gears you have completed. This gets old and should have been fixed before this game's release. **************************************************************************** Score Gameplay: **** Graphics: **** Sound/Music: *** Play Control/Game Design: *** Personal Opinion: *** Total: 17 out of 25 Final Score: 68 % **************************************************************************** Currently Known Codes: None.
