Rolan's Curse II Game by Sammy Corp. Reviewed by Adrock gbcam@hotmail.com Size: 2 megabits Save: Battery, 2 slots Released: 1992 Works with: Any Game Boy. **************************************************************************** Opening Snide Remarks: I had never heard about this game before I borrowed it from my friend. Now it's one of the cooler games on my "Games Played" list. It's a Square quality game! **************************************************************************** Gameplay Descripion: It's that time again. The land of Rolan has been cursed. You are the designated hero. Good for you. There are lots of people in the other lands that help you on your adventure. A deep game that plays a lot like Final Fantasy Adventure. Liked: A good quality game that's like FFA. Hated: Your character can only have a four letter name. That would be a problem if my name wasn't Adam. **************************************************************************** Graphics Description: The game, once again, looks like Final Fantasy Adventure. Lots of detail and varied levels. Liked: Look at the cute little monkeys! Hated: Nothing in particular to hate. **************************************************************************** Sound/Music Description: The music is only standard-fare. I thought they could of done a little better. Liked: OK tunes. Hated: It looks like Final Fantasy but it doesn't really sound like it. **************************************************************************** Play Control/Game Design: The game is tight and responsive, but hit-detection with the sword a little off. Liked: Responsive controls. Hated: Average Hit-Detection. **************************************************************************** Improve: More game depth and plot. You just throw him into a dangerous world of monsters? But still, it's a pretty good game. RIYL: Final Fantasy Adventure, and Zelda. **************************************************************************** Final Words: If you want a cool game and you liked Final Fantasy Adventure or Zelda IV, then you will enjoy this game, too. I know I mentioned FFA a lot, but this game does have a little originality to it. **************************************************************************** Score Gameplay: **** Graphics: **** Sound/Music: *** Play Control/Game Design: *** Personal Opinion: **** Total: 18 out of 25 Final Score: %72 **************************************************************************** Currently Known Codes: None.
