Opening Snide Remarks: This was the first SNES game to utilize the FX chip.
This chip allowed the SNES to throw around some polygons.

Gameplay Description: If you have played StarFox 64 then you know what to 
expect.  The original StarFox is all spaceship based.  You fly missions 
while you blast enemies and avoid structures.  It's basically like every 
other sky-combat game except you're a fox and your co-pilots are other 
animals.  The game itself doesn't hold up well.  I played the hell out of 
StarFox 64 and still think that it's an amazing game.  But I bought this game
expecting the same kind of game on my SNES and I was disappointed.  
Liked: Cool shooter.
Hated: This game's not half as good as StarFox 64.

Graphics Description: The graphics of StarFox are ugly plain polygons.  The 
graphics at the time were somewhat revolutionary, but I never understood why.
They were always ugly and still are.  The graphics suck.
Liked: Nothing.
Hated: Ugly polygon graphics.

Sound/Music Description: StarFox has some cool music.  It's pretty memorable
and fits this game.  The sound fx are good.  There's also a little bit of 
voices.  Most of the voices though are gibberish, but there's a little bit of
English in there.
Liked: Great music.
Hated: Nothing.

Play Control/Game Design: StarFox has some pretty good controls.  They're not
half as good as StarFox 64, but they're okay.  The game design is okay, but
I'd rather play StarFox 64. 
Liked: Decent controls.
Hated: Controls aren't as good as StarFox 64.

Improve: It's already been improved and it's now damn close to perfection.
It's called StarFox 64.

Final Words: StarFox is a horrible game if you've already played StarFox 64.
If you only have a SNES and want a space combat game, then StarFox is for 
you.
