Tetris Game by Nintendo Reviewed by Robby Cox koi@magicnet.net Save: None Released: 1989 Works with: N/A **************************************************************************** Opening Snide Remarks: The Game Boy classic on the NES. Is it just as addicting? **************************************************************************** Gameplay Description: Tetris plays exactly like the GB or any other version of Tetris does. There's really nothing new to this version other than it's in color and it has slightly better music. That's it. Liked: Classic Tetris gameplay. Hated: There's really nothing new here. **************************************************************************** Graphics Description: Tetris looks just like you would expect. It looks like the GB version except it's in color. Liked: Color graphics. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Sound/Music Description: Tetris has the classic Tetris music, which is really just the Nutcracker Suite. It sounds great. The sound fx are basically the same Tetris sound fx that you've heard before. Liked: Good music. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Play Control/Game Design: Tetris controls perfectly. It controls just like every other version does. The game design is good, but I wish that there were some exclusive console features. Liked: Perfect controls. Hated: Nothing new. **************************************************************************** Improve: Add some new features. RIYL: Tetris(GB), Tetris Attack, Tetrisphere(N64), Tetris Plus. **************************************************************************** Final Words: If you want a great console version of Tetris, then look no further. If you want a different gameplay experience than on your GB, then you better look elsewhere. **************************************************************************** Score Gameplay: ***** Graphics: **** Sound/Music: **** Play Control/Game Design: ***** Personal Opinion: **** Total: 22 out of 25 Final Score: 88 % **************************************************************************** Currently Known Codes: None.
