Opening Snide Remarks: Tetris Plus?  Does the plus mean better?  It does for
GM's Mr. Goodwrench Service Plus, but does it for this game.

Gameplay Descripion: Well, the plus in Tetris Plus definitely does not mean
better, because this game is not.  This game features 4 different game modes.
Classic Tetris is exactly what it sounds like, it's an excellent version of 
Tetris.  Versus Mode is Classic Tetris played by 2 people.  Puzzle Mode is a 
mode where there are some puzzle pieces laid out with this explorer dude on 
top of them and there's these spikes at the top of the screen and you have 
to get rid of the pieces that he's on so that he can escape before he's 
squashed to a bloody pulp.  This is the main mode of this game and it's 
pretty lame.  It's different which is good, but it is very frustrating when
you can't get the right puzzle pieces.  There's also an Edit Mode, where you 
can build your own puzzles.   
Liked: Classic Mode
Hated: Puzzle Mode

Graphics Description: Tetris Plus has some pretty good graphics.  You won't 
wet yourself or anything.  They get the job done.  
Liked: It's in color.
Hated: Nothing.

Sound/Music Description: The music of Tetris Plus is really nice.  Here's 
where the CD is actually cool.  The music really gets you into this game.  
The sound fx are pretty good, but they're not all that noticeable.  One 
really cool thing is when you clear out a line, the announcer says "Single!",
"Double!" when you clear out two, and when you clear out 4, he yells out 
"TETRIS!".  It's really cool!!     
Liked: The announcer.
Hated: Nothing.

Play Control/Game Design: The control of Tetris Plus is really good.  I was
scared that this game would control poorly because it was not developed by 
Nintendo, but I was wrong.  The game design is good, but the Puzzle Mode 
sucks.  When this is the meat of the game, you're in trouble.    
Liked: Great controls.
Hated: Puzzle Mode.

Final Words: If you find this game cheap like I did, 5 bucks, grab it.  If
you're looking for the next generation of Tetris look elsewhere.  The puzzle
mode sucks, but everything else is pretty cool.  Great if all that you own is
GB Tetris.
