Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game Game by Ultra Games Reviewed by Robby Cox koi@magicnet.net Save: None Released: 1990 Works with: N/A **************************************************************************** Opening Snide Remarks: I didn't realize this until after I bought this game, but this game is a port of the original TMNT arcade classic. **************************************************************************** Gameplay Description: This game is an excellent port of the arcade classic. If you played the original arcade game, this game is exactly the same other than the graphics aren't quite as good. It's a Double Dragon type game, but it's amazingly fun. It still is. Liked: Great port of the arcade classic. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Graphics Description: This game looks great for an NES game, but it doesn't look nearly as good as the original arcade version. The graphics get the job done, but the graphics are very simple. Liked: Above average NES graphics. Hated: Graphics aren't as good as the arcade classic. **************************************************************************** Sound/Music Description: The music is great. It sounds like the arcade game did. The sound fx are the same way. Liked: Good music. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Play Control/Game Design: The controls are excellent. They're very simple but they're also very responsive. The game design is good, as well. Liked: Great controls. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Improve: Better graphics. RIYL: other TMNT games, Double Dragon series. **************************************************************************** Final Words: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game is an excellent game. If you loved the arcade version, then this game is for you. If not, you should still give it a shot. **************************************************************************** Score Gameplay: **** Graphics: *** Sound/Music: *** Play Control/Game Design: **** Personal Opinion: *** Total: 17 out of 25 Final Score: 68 % **************************************************************************** Currently Known Codes: None.
