Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles In Time Game by Konami Reviewed by Robby Cox koi@magicnet.net Save: None. Released: 1992 Works with: N/A **************************************************************************** Opening Snide Remarks: I got this game for my birthday a few years ago and really liked it. I still think that it's pretty cool. **************************************************************************** Gameplay Description: TMNT IV: Turtles In Time is a really cool 2-D sidescroller beat-em-up. You and a friend can play as 2 of the TMNT as you go around busting Foot Clan heads. It's a very simple, but enjoyable game. You walk from left to right and take out anything that moves. The Turtles can use their trademark weapons and their fists and feet to take on the Foot Clan. The bosses are cool and the game looks pretty good. Liked: Cool gameplay. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Graphics Description: The graphics are really good. They look a lot like the TMNT arcade game. The game plays a lot like that, too. The turtles and the other characters look like they should. The backgrounds look excellent, as well. Liked: Good graphics. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Sound/Music Description: The music is very good. The TMNT theme is there and the other musical selections are good, as well. The sound fx are good, also. Liked: Good music. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Play Control/Game Design: TMNT IV controls excellently. The controls are easy to grasp and the moves are easy to pull off. The game design is okay. I would kinda like to see another TMNT game that was closer to the darker comics, though. Liked: Good controls. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Improve: A darker storyline would be cool. RIYL: Other TMNT games, Mischief Makers. **************************************************************************** Final Words: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles In Time is an excellent game that cam probably be had very cheaply. It was one of the first SNES games that looked almost as good as an arcade game. It was a blast and still is. It's definitely worth a play. **************************************************************************** Score Gameplay: **** Graphics: **** Sound/Music: **** Play Control/Game Design: **** Personal Opinion: **** Total: 20 out of 25 Final Score: 80 % **************************************************************************** Currently Known Codes: None.
