Ironsword: Wizards & Warriors II Game by Acclaim/Rare Reviewed by Robby Cox koi@magicnet.net Save: Password Released: 1988 Works with: N/A **************************************************************************** Opening Snide Remarks: I never really cared for the original Wizards & Warriors, but I figured that I would give this one a shot anyway. **************************************************************************** Gameplay Description: Ironsword is a lame little combo of platform and action elements that don't quite add up. This game makes no sense and the controls suck. Don't bother with this lame NES game. Liked: Nothing. Hated: Everything. **************************************************************************** Graphics Description: Ironsword has some pretty good NES graphics. They're nothing compared to today's games. The graphics are somewhat detailed 2-D sprites. Liked: Decent graphics. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Sound/Music Description: Ironsword has some decent music. It's not very memorable, though. The sound fx are okay. Liked: Decent music. Hated: Nothing. **************************************************************************** Play Control/Game Design: Here's where Ironsword falls apart. The controls suck. Period. They just are stupid and not responsive. That game design sucks, as well. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do or where to go. Liked: Nothing. Hated: Horrible controls and game design. **************************************************************************** Improve: Fix the controls, first off. RIYL: Wizards & Warriors, Dungeons & Dragons games. **************************************************************************** Final Words: Ironsword: Wizards & Warriors II is a horrible game. This is in my opinion the worst game ever created by Rare. This game should be considered punishment for sins. Don't waste your money on this game and if someone tries to give you this game, don't even bother taking it for free. **************************************************************************** Score Gameplay: * Graphics: ** Sound/Music: ** Play Control/Game Design: * Personal Opinion: * Total: 7 out of 25 Final Score: 28 % **************************************************************************** Currently Known Codes: None.
