Opening Remarks: Columbia Tristar had so little faith in Jackie
Chan's box office appeal that they released this movie straight
to HBO. This movie was to be released after the low returns of
Operation Condor and Mr. Nice Guy. Of course, Rush Hour changed
that. But then again Twin Dragons flopped. I wonder how much of
that was because Twin Dragons was already available on home
video. When it's released on DVD I will pick up another copy,
though. Anyways, on with the review of "Jackie Chan's Who Am
I ?"

Movie Quality: Who Am I is a really good Jackie Chan stunt movie.
The plot leaves a lot to be desired. It will make a lot more
sense after repeated viewings, however. There are lots of really
cool stunts including when Jackie wraps a wire around himself and
jumps off of a building, there's a fight where Jackie wears
wooden shoes, he also slides across the road in front of traffic
while wearing the wooden shoes. There's also one of the greatest
fights in history. When Jackie fights the two guys on top of the
building at 1 hr. 30 mins. into the movie. Before I saw this
movie, I had heard that this fight ranked up there with the
legendary Jackie Vs. Bennie "The Jet" Urquidez battle
in "Wheels on Meals". I saw "Wheels on Meals"
first and was amazed with the Jackie/Bennie fight. The fight from
Who Am I ? is almost as good. It definitely deserves to rank up
there as one of the best fights in movie history. Overall, if you
want a great Jackie Chan film, then Who Am I ? will please you.
If you want a nicely written movie, watch Rush Hour. It's written
better, but it isn't as good of a Jackie Chan movie.

Video Quality: Who Am I ? looks great. It looks like most DVDs.
The video is very clear and colorful. The movie is presented in
it's theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1 and there's also a
Fullscreen version for people who like that sort of thing. Both
look great.

*****************************************************************************
Sound Quality: Who Am I ? sounds great. The music is very clear
and fits the movie well. The ending song, which is sung by Jackie
Chan himself, is great. The surround sound is great. This disc
sounds great.

Extras: There are nothing but the bare bones extras on this disc.
There's a trailer, but since this movie didn't have a theatrical
release in the U.S.A, this trailer is made specifically for the
home video release. The lack of extras is disappointing, but
everything else on this disc is great. So I'll forgive it a
little.

Improve: MORE EXTRAS!!!
RIYL: Rumble In The Bronx, Supercop, Jackie Chan's First Strike,
Mr. Nice Guy, Fearless Hyena, The Young Master, Dragons Forever,
Wheels on Meals, Winners and Sinners(This one's more of a Sammo
Hung movie, though.)

Overall Opinion: Jackie Chan's Who Am I ? is a plain disc of a
great movie. If you want a Special Edition with lots of
supplements, buy Rush Hour. If you want the best version of Who
Am I ? available anywhere, then this disc is for you.
