It is my understanding that only old testiment Leaders and Holy men(Priesthood holders) were anointed with this Holy oil. Those that were, were called messiahs which literally means anointed. Later scriptures reveal that a prohibition was called on this anointing oil. It was then in my understanding that people began to wait for a new messiah who would end this oppressive religous reign.
Enter Jesus of Nazareth. A feisty illigitamate young man who had
the backbone to break the prohibition. Look in the dictionary Christ
literally means anointed. Now all Jesus did while on earth was show
by example how to live a life of love! He spoke of it and don't forget
he healed the sick.
Question: How did Jesus heal the sick? He was
always anointing people. I would have to believe with the very oil
spoken of in Exodus.
I can't/won't tell you what this anointing oil will do for you.
