Well, this is me. I was
going for the Urban Navajo look. I am Half Navajo and half White. I
was born in Salt Lake City, Utah but grew up on the Navajo
Reservation. We had no running water or electricity till I was 11! |

Last June, my
family bought a small run-down pawnshop right outside of the Navajo
Nation. I never thought that I would be running a pawnshop or
selling Native American Jewelry. After a
year of business, we are still around. I hope that we make it!!! Our
pawnshop is very small and needs lots of repairs. The roof leaks.
The floors are plywood. The front porch needs repairs. Right now, we
only have 2 jewelry cases. Most of our business comes from selling
tools! Every penny I make on the net goes to fixing up the pawnshop, lol |

THANKS ALL!!! -May 23, 2004 Bought a bunch of used display tables
and racks that came out of a department store. They are nice!

My wife, Effie loves to deal with the locals, who
are mainly
Navajos.
She was born in Gallup, New Mexico but lived in Nashchitti, New
Mexico till she met me in 1996. Now, we both live behind the
Pawnshop in a little double-wide trailer, lol. |
