UcW AGGRESSION Feb/23/04

Live from the Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Your Announcers are Jim Boss and Jerry The King Brawler.

We open with video from last weeks Main Event. Shawn Henderson got a win over Chris Benoit, getting a rollup out of nowhere when the Crippler was distracted by World Champion HHH on the entry ramp. Post-match Hunter hit Shawn with the Pedigree. After, Raws Sheriff Stone Cold Steve Austin announced that at Wrestlemania 20 Hunter will be putting his title on the line in a Triple Threat match-his opponents will be Benoit and HBK.

Pyros go, J.R. and the King welcome us in, were informed later on Chris Benoit will take on Evolution faction stalwart Batista. Also tonight-Vince McMahon will be making a major announcement regarding Wrestlemania 20. Its expected that Vince will also finally accept the challenge of a fight issued by Raw GM Eric Bischoff back when he was running World Championship Wrestling.

First up: A Fatal 4-Way Elimination match, with Molly Hollys Womens Championship on the line. Challengers are Lita, Victoria, and Jazz, last is accompanied by Theodore Long. Bell rings, we start off fast and furious, heres the order of elimination:

1. Jazz gets eliminated by Lita, DDT.

2. Molly gets eliminated by Victoria, rollup.

Molly lays into Victoria before being escorted from the ring. Break.

Back, were down to Victoria vs. Lita. Ladies bust their butts, we get several near falls-and Victoria gets the win with the Widows Peak! Alright! Post-match Steven Richards hits the ring to offer heartfelt congratulations. Im with you man.

In the parking lot a limo rolls in, and Mr. McMahon emerges. He tells the driver to bring his wrestling gear to his office. Break.

Back, Jonathan Coachman informs Eric that Vince has arrived. He knows, dammit. Exit Coach, enter Christian. He asks for a match at Wrestlemania-himself and Chris Jericho getting a shot at the tag straps (currently held by Rob Van Dam & Booker T). Eric grows incensed at the very mention of Y2J, he gives the WM idea a big thumbs down. However, Christian WILL get the chance to compete tonight-taking on Jerichos other best bud, Trish Stratus. Christian (and myself) are all, WTF?

Back to the ring for Val Venis vs. Intercontinental Champion Randy Orton in a non-title match. Pre-match we get video from last week-Randy, Ric Flair and Batista laid a massive beatdown on Mick Foley. J.R. mentions well see an interview he recently conducted with Mick later on.

As for the match-standard action, no nonsense, Randy gets the win after the RKO.

Batista vs. Benoit is hyped before we break.

Back, we get video from the new Monday Night Wars DVD of Eric challenging Vinnie Mac.

In his office, Eric asks Coach who was responsible for the airing of that video. Obvious culprit, Stone Cold, enters. He tries to bolster Erics confidence by reminding him hes made out with Vinces wife and daughter. Eric relaxes a bit and starts talking about a fantasy involving the McMahon ladies-he thankfully gets cut off when Vince enters the scene (NEVER been so glad to see the boss). In a nutshell, Vince tells Eric to prepare for a butt kicking.

Cut to Ric Flair and Orton giving Batista a pep talk. HHH enters and tells his pals to come to the ring with him-hes got a major announcement to make. Break.

Wrestlemania: In 20 days.

Back, the assembled Evolution faction strut to the ring. HHH states hes no longer upset about having to defend his title against 2 men. Hes the Game, the World Heavyweight Champion, hell always come out on top, the usual.

Chris Benoit walks down the ramp. Hes sick of HHH always talking about being the best. He wants him to put up or shut up. Hunter invites Chris into the ring. He obliges, steel chair in hand. Evo crew back off, Benoit looks to make Randy his first target but gets blindsided by Batista. Chris goes down, 4 on 1 beatdown ensues, Shawn Michaels arrives to make the save. Evo crew are cleared out, Chris immediately takes HBK down and locks in the Crossface. GLASS BREAKS, and Stone Cold rides to the ring on his ATV. He tells everyone but Batista and Benoit to hit the bricks, their match is next. Rattler adds that ANYONE who tries to interfere will not make it to Wrestlemania. Break.

Back, Benoit vs. Batista is in progress. Good power vs. speed & technique outing, end sees Chris blocking a powerbomb and getting the submission win with the Crossface. Break.

WWE Rewind: From last Monday, RVD and Booker T defeat Batista & Ric Flair to become new World Tag Team Champions.

Back, we see Eric pouting in his office. Stone Cold enters for a beer and a pep talk (?). He tells Bischoff to once again become the cat that led WCW to 83 weeks of ratings victories. Eye of the Tiger, baby!

We head to the ring for RVD & Booker T vs. René Dupree & Rob Conway (La Resistance). Match is non-title. Fast-paced action, La Res are getting better and better, RVD gets the win for his team, pinning René after the 5 Star Frog Splash.

We see some recent photos of Mick Foley-both of his eyes appear swollen shut. J.R.s interview with the Hardcore Legend will air after a break.

Wrestlemania Recall: From WM6, humorist Steve Allen sings with Nikolai Volkoff and Boris Zukoff.

Backstage, Christian and Trish Stratus discuss their upcoming match. Christian offers to simply lay down for Trish-as long as later on shell lay down for him. Bah. Trish is aghast, Christian states he was just kidding, he just wanted to make sure she wouldnt do anything to hurt Jericho. Odd.

J.R. and the King have footage roll from last weeks beatdown of Foley.

We go to our pre-recorded sit-down interview with Mick-one of his eyes is still blackened. J.R. reminds Mick during the mauling Randy kept telling him to stay down-why didnt he? Answer: Instinct. Mick is rather hurt no one in the back attempted to make the save-he reckons a lot of the boys are still upset at him for walking away from WWE back in December. J.R. asks if Mick feels his career is over. No, not yet-hell be in Atlanta for Raw next week, and has his sights set on the Evolution faction. Looks like its quite definitely on like neckbone. Break.

Sting of the Night: From last Monday, Kane injures Chris Jerichos knee.

Next: Trish Stratus vs. Christian. Bell rings, Christian lays down, Trish covers-for 2, Christian kicks out and smiles as he gets to his feet. HUGE A-HOLE chant! Christian puts Trish in the Walls of Jericho, she taps out, bell is called for, ref has to force Christian to break the hold. He backs up the ramp smirking. Break.

Back, a pair of trainers carry Trish to the backstage area.

Cut to Coach knocking on a bathroom door, he calls to Bischoff, who he presumes is inside throwing up. Eric exits-he appears totally ready to face Vince. He delivers a quick speech on the Monday Night Wars-he stole WWE talent, made them bigger stars, and only failed to destroy Vinces company because of the Time/Warner buyout. He exits, Coach appears impressed by Erics fired-up attitude. Break.

Vince hits the ring in his wrestling gear. First order of business-Wrestlemania 20. He barely starts talking when Stacy Keiblers music plays. She and Jackie Gayda join their smiling boss. Theyre pissed that Smackdown Divas Sable and Torrie Wilson got to appear in Playboy, they want a match with the two at Wrestlemania. No problem, Vince sets up an inter-promotional Evening Gown match. Next on the bosses dance card is Kane. Girls split as he bitches about The Undertaker and the creepy videos that have been disturbing him recently. Vince sets up Kane vs. Taker for Wrestlemania. Fine, Kane bails, Vince starts talking about another match hes been considering for Wrestlemania, Bill Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar. He teases delivering a thumbs down until Stone Cold rides to the ring. Rattler offers to be the special guest referee for Goldberg vs. Lesnar. Whats in it for the Rattler, Vince asks. None of his damn business. Boss relents, weve got Alxe vs. Rod. Vince wants Austin to prove hes got what it takes to officiate-hes ordered to be the referee for our next match

Mac makes his way down for our Main Event-Vince McKidd vs. Mac Bischoff. Bell rings, Vince goes for brawling, Mac makes like Hong Kong Phooey, Stone Cold looks on in a mixture of disgust and amusement. Action (so to speak) moves to the outside-as ALXE SCOTT appears behind Austin. Rattler turns and takes an A-5. Close-up of Brock and a TYRONE chant ends the show
