"All adoptions in our county are under seal since 1953. For any information wanting to be obtained you must petition the court to open the records. The fee for filing a petition would be $20. It must be filed in our office at Orphans' Court Division, Room 105, 400 S. 8th St., Lebanon, PA 17042."

The response was unsigned. Included was a registration form for both the B'parent and the adoptee for the PA Adoption Medical History Registry.
