The Worden Park Sports Complex is located on the outskirts of NW Wellington on Hillside. Development began on the Park in 1996 and continues to this day. It is an effort of volunteerism and City assistance. It offers a variety of sporting events and facilities.

FLYING FIELD
SHELTER HOUSE
A state of the art go-kart track. The track is a 35 foot wide, 1/4 mile clay oval. Permanent concession stand with bathrooms. New renovations for 1999, to include additional track lighting, higher fence and relocated track entry/exit and scale area.
WORDEN PARK RACEWAY
Wheatland Karting Association.A softball/baseball complex which was dedicated by Lamar Electro-Air. Lamar has spent $75,000.00 completing this facility. It has a red shale infield made with soil from Viola, Ks., a 300 ft. field, an outer warning track, a Pepsi-Cola scoreboard, an underground watering system and six 75 ft. light poles.
LAMAR FIELD
There are two fully developed tournament quality softball fields with covered dugouts that are capable of being played at 225 feet or 300 feet outfield boundaries. A third softball field is under construction. Also included is a full service concession stand which contains restrooms and an umpire's room. The fields have top quality tournament lighting and scoreboards. Batting cages are also available.
