Will of HENDERSON L. SEAGO

County of Anson, State of North Carolina.

In the name of God. Being weak in body, but sound in memory, I, H.L. SEAGO, do make this my last will and testament.

Item 1st: I wish soon after my death that all my lands be sold to highest bidder on credit of twelve months after payments of my first debts and reserving fifty dollars for burial expenses , enclosure of graveyard, etc., I wish one hundred dollars divided among daughters of JAMES SEAGO, IRPIE SEAGO, JERIMIAH HENRY, AND WILLIAM HENRY, say twenty five dollars to each family, and all the balance to be divided into five equal parts. One part to male children of WILLIAM SEAGO, one to male children of JAMES SEAGO, one to male children of CARL SEAGO, one to male children of LIPE SEAGO, the other to male children of JERIMIAH HENRY.

Item 2nd: I hereby constitute and nominate my friend JERIMIAH HENRY Executor to my last will and testament, this 17th December 1856.
