...A Thousand Words...Poetry

Touched by your eyes across the room,
a smile that brightens my soul.
Never has this weakness come over me
It is as if like a moth drawn to a flame,
I would wither in ectasy of your presence,
Rather than continue alone.
I do not know what could make me happier.
Never have I known pure joy.
To revel in the beauty of your sights,
Breathing your breath,
Touching your hand,
Your kisses so gentle,
Driving straight to my soul.
and all along, I want more.
Yet I am content with this

"Blessed"

I wish that I could fix the stars,
so they would shine only on you,
So the Entire Sky would light up,
With a love I never knew.
And Then all the world,
Would be in love with the night.
And pay no worship,
To the suns trifile light.
The Stars will glow so brightly,
Shimmering with your spirit.
And then maybe they will understand it, accept it
and not fear it.
The Heavens will pick us up,
and wrap us in our love.
Not to be disturbed,
Floating so high above.
So the Entire world will see,
Just how much our love grows.
And anyone could see it...
For in our eyes it will show.
.........I wish I could give you all of this,
But the stars will not move for me.
So I can only hope you'll understand,
This is how it's suppose to be.
Everything will be constantly,
puting our love to the test,
but to just have your love,
I know I am truly blessed.

--written by Shalyhn Azar, (also known as Eternity). This poem is one of my personal favorites. Though, technically, it has no real connection to Sailormoon, I feel it was a must to share this wonderful piece of literature with others.

As I lie beneath the silver moon I dream of you.
Look out my window, and the trees sway in a dance of love.
The radio plays a romantic melody,
I remember the laughs and sweet moments.
We will perserve throughout time, forever more.

--written and submitted by Hanna of Crystal Roses, in relation of Usako's feelings for Mamo-chan. This poem can also be found on my main page layout for July

"To Love Too Late"

Silent Earth, what is this?
You tremble 'neath my touch?
I do recall, the day when all,
My love meant nothing much.

Anon, Anon, Priestly Peter,
  I come to Heaven's gate,
But as I part, so do I leave my Heart
So you shall have to wait.

Again the Earth trembles,
How can I leave Him so?
If only I knew, what he had felt too...
But into Heaven I must go.

He should have whispered "Sweet Usa"
So I should then have known.
Did He harbor some feeling? While my heart was but bleeding?
And now into death I have grown.

-by Kaylienne, the creator of The Empire of Suns and Shadows.

"A Handful of Stars"

'What would you ask if I offered you anything,
Sailor, to stay at my side?'
'The sails and the spars,
Bright Venus and Mars,
And a handful of stars for my guide.'

Outside the sea rages wild and fearful-
It rattles the windows and bars.
Oh, will you not stay?'
'No, I must be away,
But I'll leave you a handful of stars.'

'But what if I'll love you forever and ever
With a love that is simple and wise?'
'Then I'll let my sail square
Be the wind in your hair,
And my handful of stars be your eyes.'

-From the book: Ride the Savage Sea By: Mallory Burgess, provided from The Empire of Suns and Shadows.
