are you the author, or is this a misunderstanding? Please reply.
Her reply:
> Yes I am
I got this message recently, after several other messages I had sent out to her:
From: CandaceVZ@aol.com | Block addressWell, you judge. If you are wondering, Mr Rathbone has recieved no apology from CandaceVZ@aol.com as of yet.

When you said " are you the author" I thought you meant, did you give
this to her to put on the page. No I am not the author. I would never be able
to write like that. But yes I did give it to her to put on her page and she
misunderstood and thought I was the author.

There are still
a few complications, but I feel that things are considerably better now.
I recieved a reply from the
site owner, dreamangl@hotmail.com
stating that the problem has been rectified, but still nothing from CandaceVZ@aol.com.
I have returned to the regular index page, and
this will no longer be found as my index.

I am glad to
say that "All I Never Wanted" is now removed from http://home.beseen.com/friends/empresszaraofavalon/poetry4.html.
Though I have not recieved any recent responses from the site owner, dreamangl@hotmail.com
or
CandaceVZ@aol.com,
this is a step in the right direction and I hope things will clear over
soon. Thank you for all those who have given feedback, your opinions are
much appreciated.

A Thousand Words--important notice

(This page will also be found on
my index. For the main page, click on the link below.)
I am very frustrated to do this, but I feel this is something everyone should be aware about.
Plagiarism is wrong. To take someone else's works, and claim it for your own is just plain pitiful, and not only degrading to yourself, but to others. On October 30th, I came across a piece of literature that illustrated this much so. Within the site listed below, a CandaceVZ@aol.com claims upon writing a piece called "All I Never Wanted". On my page, I have a piece titled "Usagi's Lyric", of whom Allen W. Rathbone claims upon writing. Both poems are equally exact, word for word.
I know very well that I should give
each of them equal sides, that either one of them could have written it.
It is clear *someone* has plagiarized. It is for you, the reader to judge:
Here is the page of the poem, "All
I Never Wanted": http://home.beseen.com/friends/empresszaraofavalon/poetry4.html
Email: CandaceVZ@aol.com
Here is the page that contains the
poem "Usagi's Lyric": http://rosie_lynn.tripod.com/lyric_knows.html
Email of Allen W. Rathbone II: ataliwyn@hotmail.com
I have emailed both, I have confirmation from Mr. Rathbone that he is the author; I also have the same confirmation from CandaceVZ@aol.com that she is. I am familiar with work that Mr. Rathbone sent to me personally, and in my opinion, I feel that Mr. Rathbone is the original author. Also, Mr. Rathbone has publicly claimed credit for writing "Usagi's Lyric" at alt.fan.sailor-moon. Some of you may have read his work at the news group. I was not familiar with any of CandaceVZ@aol.com until now. I had learned of the site, featuring "All I Never Wanted" through the Usagi and Mamoru mailing list. "Usagi's Lyric", by Mr. Rathbone has been promoted on the Usagi and Mamoru mailing list. I learnt, as of today that CandaceVZ@aol.com just happens to also be part of the Usagi and Mamoru mailing list.
I truly enjoy Mr. Rathbone's work,
and I believe he is a magnificent writer. The whole point of my website
is to share things with others; unfortunately, I will no longer be posting
anything new of his up due to this.
Please, I ask of you, the readers, to give any feedback to either me, Empress Zara of Avalon, CandaceVZ@aol.com or Mr. Rathbone. Thank you.
Sincerely, Rosie S.
