______the love of SM_________________________________________________ Every fan of SM has his/her own reasons for being a fan. What makes SM such a great series/manga? Why, even after years it has ended, it still continues to attract new fans, and hold on to old ones? This section here is dedicated to the words and reasons answering this one question:
Why do you love SM?
____________________________________________________________________Why I love SM:
a)The way it can make you feel. How you can cry one moment, and be screaming for joy the next.b)How you can forget about evrything else when you're watching. No matter how much life sucks, for that moment, when I'm watching, I can be totally absorbed into a world of imagination.
Why Florence Cheung, of Violent Winds, loves SM:
"I agree wholeheartedly with the reasons why you love Sailormoon. Recently, I have been catching up on the Super S season (the only one that I have yet to fully see) and everytime I do so, I become so enticed by it that it's like I'm in a reverie. All my problems naturally go away. And you are surely right about the emotional roller coaster this brilliant anime can take you through. It's absolutely thrilling. However, there are other reasons why Sailormoon is my absolute fave. It delves so deeply into life issues and the character development is so good that, despite the controversies, few anime can compare."
Why Emily loves SM:
"I've always loved to think of destiny and continuity. I've spun three-generational sagas in my head. Most TV shows have no continuity whatsoever. Some times I love a sitcom for the first three episodes--a cute unrequited-love situation gets set up, and I hope for one more time that something will come of it. By the fortieth episode, nothing's happened! Sailor Moon is different--by the fortieth episode, so much had changed from the beginning. Things actually progressed and advanced! I liked to think of the passage of time from Queen Serenity to Usagi to Chibi-Usa, too. I still want to believe that my actions will mean something sometime in the future--Sailor Moon is a show that kind of reflects that belief. Also, I think that Sailor Moon is one of the main catalysts for my big change of attitude I had, from being very cynical to being mostly realistic and optimistic. I'm still very much a loner and I don't like trends, but now I'm basically happier with the world and my place in it, because the show had a gentle innocence about it. With that said, though, I think I'm moving from the 'ai to seigi' (love and justice) stage of my life to a more 'amitie, choix, raison, amour, adoration, conviction, soi' stage. (Those are how the battles in Utena are named--it translates to 'friendship, choice, reason, love, adoration, conviction, self.') I think I want to become a Prince ^_^ Even so, I still love Sailor Moon."
Why Mistress Serenity loves SM:
"I love Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon because of its concept and kokaii characters. I also like BSSM because of Chibi-Usa and Hotaru, who are my favorite BSSM characters, as well as my favorite anime characters. Hotaru, of course, because she has a very interesting past and is the strongest and second kawaiiest Senshi. Also, Professer Tomoe and the Witches 5, who are sort of her *servants* are majorly funny, and Tomoe's insanity and Mimete's whole plots are hilarious in itself. Now to Chibi-Usa. Most people don't like her, and they have reasons. Her dub counterpart is extremely annoying, kawaii or not. She is much better in the original R, and her classic comments are oh-so-kawaai*calling Minako-chan, Mako-chan and Usagi-chan old women!*, but she is still a brat who should be spanked repeatedly. In S, she's much more mature and adorable, not as bratty. She's kawaai as Chibi-Moon, and she helps Hotaru-chan, showing how much she's grown up. In SuperS, her love for Elios is cool, and in Stars, she's at her most mature point seen in BSSM. Anyway, ja ne!"

i love sailor moon because, it had depth. it has meaning.if only people knew about it!! if they ever saw the japanese versions,
(movies), they would love it too!!! they just don't know. they don't know
about the past, present, and the future to come!!!! there's more to it than
just, the dub. (kinda corny)
Why Julia loves SM:
