Process

There are several steps for you to follow. Before you begin each new activity, refer to your Evaluation sheet. There you will find exactly how you will be graded on each step of the process.

ù Peer Learning

You will be assigned a partner. You and your partner will share the same computer and help each other throughout this project.will be the Science Officer and other person will be the Research Expert. Be sure to check the participation portion on your Evaluation rubric. Remember this is a TEAM effort!

Design a folder in which to keep your work. Remember your design should match the theme of your project.

ùBrainstorm

Talk with your partner to identify those details that a scientist knows about. Here isa suggestion: What do you think a scientist would say was needed to construct a new moon for the earth? List your ideas on the graphic organizer. Make sure to print your graphic organizer (1 per person).

ùWebquest

With your partner use the Internet resources to find out what would be needed to duplicate the moon. Download a worksheet for each role. (One worksheet per person.)

Visit all the websites listed. Gather as much information from the sites to help you with the worksheets and to learn what you need to construct the Earth’s new moon.
