It shows in their conversation, in their looks, their gestures, but also in their complexion, and perhaps especially in what is left unspoken. There is a powerful current passing between them which fights any attempt to break it. You should have seen them hug each other in delight when Marina was pronounced Métrostar woman of the year. They would have wanted to be there with her. </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>One can’t help but be moved by and fall in love with this young couple who are certainly very talented, but also so genuine, so accessible, so generous, so delicate, and so surprised by their popularity. </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>How do you take this show of appreciation that you have received? </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>It recharges me. It gives me a burst of energy. </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>You now have quite a fan club. What effect does this have? </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Well in general I am quite proud of what I do. If everyone acknowledges me and likes me for that, that’s fantastic. I love this business. </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>I have noticed, here but also elsewhere, that whenever you are congratulated it has a tangible effect on you … </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Yes, because when I do something, I don’t do it half-heartedly. I give it everything I have. </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>What would you like to say to those men and women who are most critical of you? </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Everyone has their own opinions. </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>When you receive a show of appreciation like the one this evening, do you still want to run off into the woods? </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Not tonight. </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Simé, what does this Métrostar award mean to you? </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>At this moment I feel as if I were Roy. We are so close that this award brings me as much pleasure as it does him. I’m so happy for him. I wasn’t certain after all that has happened. </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Was he not expecting it either? </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>He wasn’t sure. </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>What was his first reaction when he got up to collect his award? </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>He shook my hand very excitedly. </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Does Roy have confidence in himself? </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Actors aren’t always confident. They try to do their best and when the public confirm that they like them, this makes them happy. </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Have you been together a good while? </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Almost three years. </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>A marvellous love story? </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Yes, I think that it’s pretty good. </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>They are both very busy. In Simé’s case, her part of a vagrant in Scoop has attracted serious interest in her. She has some offers that she can’t say anything about at the moment. Roy is only beginning to accept being liked.
