In the heart of prestigious Beverly Hills, TV Hebdo meets with the mysterious Roy Dupuis, the man in "La Femme Nikita".
TVH: How was the audition for LFN ? Were the producers looking for a Québécois actor to play the part of Michael ?"
RD: No. The first thing they asked me was to lose the accent, but I fought to keep it. It's important to fight for these things. I think my accent brings a certain charm to the series. It's a plus.
TVH: What are the drawbacks of being an actor ?
RD: Being away from my home. I have an appartment in Toronto, since "La Femme Nikita" is shot in that city, but I go back home every weekend. I miss the Montreal lifestyle terribly.
TVH: What does the future hold for "La femme Nikita" ?
RD: I live for the moment. I don't think about tomorrow.
TVH: How do you feel about your partner, Peta Wilson (Nikita) ?
RD: We have a lot of fun on the set. It's a very relaxed atmosphere. There was great chemistry between us, right from the moment we met. I'm easy to get along with. Peta is Australian, and she has a lot of character. She's perfect for the role.
