Like many cars in the club, Chris's '86 blazer has been through several changes. First starting with shaving the door handles and emblems. Giving it a smooth look. The truck was then painted back to stock color. He later when on to add a moderate sound system to keep him happy. After washing the car one day and looking at the beat up racing rims, he decided it was time for something new. He went on to buy a set of 13' all chrome knockoffs from a friend and fellow club member. In his first show, Chris managed to take 2nd in his class. But he wasn't pleased. He heard a lot of talk about the stock look. Which help set his mind. After seeing his rival, another blazer, he decided it was time for more. So Chris decided he wanted a cleaner look and removing pieces of his engine to get chromed. After weeks of waiting, the parts were done. Once the chrome was replaced, the truck was taking to Rick and Mike. Where once again, the help of Wicked Kustoms came to the rescue. Chris dropped the truck of for a simple 3-pump install to let the truck stand 3-wheel. But after Rick closely looked over the vehicle, he came to the conclusion that the frame would bend and later buckle. So with that in mind, Chris decided to go ahead and add another pump. Rick and Mike worked for several days putting the setup together. At the end, Chris was highly pleased. After the truck left Wicked, it was time for a new grill. So well know Bobby from Mad Mods came to the rescue. Placing a full phantom grill on. From there, he drove straight over to Kenny's Upholstery to have the ragtop put on. After getting home and looking at all the scratches, Chris decided it needs a make over. He once again had the car painted back to the original color. The truck was done for a while. He went on to take several trophies. He went on to have the entire setup chromed. From the rack to the blocks, to the dumps. Everything was now chromed, giving a classy look to the one of a kind setup. There are still many changes to be made to this ride. Eventually he wants it sweepstake material. But his first move is to put his rival to shame. The truck will be in Tampa Lowrider 2001. So be sure to stop and look the car over. And see if it lives up to its name, "Lasting Impressions".
