I'm also working on a new FFVIII fic. I haven't thought of a title for it yet, which is why it hasn't been published on FF.net. It takes place about 20-25 years after the Sorceress War. The main characters are Quistis and Seifer's daughter Kaisa and Irvine and Selphie's son Vaughn. I don't want to give away too much plot (Okay, I don't have that much plot yet) but there is a new sorceress and she takes control of a well known character and one of the children. I think it has potential. Hopefully it turns out as good as I want it too.

One by one, the penguins steal my sanity...

I got a new kitten yesterday! His name is Aelfric, which means "Ruled by Elves". He's gray with white on his tummy and feet. He's such a cutie! Heather got him from her boss and gave him to me. He's at home right now. Hopefully the other cats aren't being mean to him.
