Members of the Russian Club will be holding a bake sale from 11:00am to 5:00pm in UAA's Business Education Building Lobby.  Make sure you buy a cookie before your class!

November 23, 2002 -Russian Dance Party
 
-Dance Party commemerating a Russian Holiday which celebrates the anniversary of the socialist revolution of October 1917.  There will be Russian music and food for all our guests.  Lots of fun for everyone!  From 10:00pm to 3:00am in the commons room 107.  See ya there!

Friday, November 29, 2002- The Nutcracker Ballet
 
-The magic of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker returns again!  Performed by the Anchorage Symphony Orchestra at the Anchorage Performing Arts Center.

December 22 to 26, 2002- Enchanted World
 
-Robotic performers in authentic costumes depict customs from aroud the world.  Come and see their Russian dolls.  Location and time TBA.

Friday October 4, 2002- Russian Music Video and Comedy night...

-At 8:00pm in the UAA's West Hall Lounge (2nd Floor) we will be showing Russian music videos and a Russian Version of Americas Funniest Home Videos/Candid Camera. There will be free pizza and desserts.  Everyone is welcome, bring a friend!

Saturday October 12, 2002- Tchaikovsky Concernt
 
-Performance of Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto at 8:00pm in the Atwood Concert Hall, ACPA 621 W. 6th Avenue.

Friday, October 18, 2002- Russian Foklore Night
 
-In the Halloween spirit, we will be hosting a night of scary tales and superstitions Russian style at 8:00pm (location TBA).

Saturday October 26, 2002- Haunted Halloween Fun Night
 
UAA's annual fun night for the little ones.  The Russian Booth game this year will be throwing pies in the face of our Babushka!  Make sure you bring your child to the UAA campus center from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and let them get all that sugar out of their systems!
