The soap's crew assembled on a N.Y. pier to film actor Mike Lavin's "accidental" spill ino the Hudson River. To set the scene, Mike and castmate Kate Mulgrew strolled along, then decide to paly "catch." A stuntman stand in for Mike (top right). He "misses" the ball dramatically loses his footing, and splashes into the water. Out of camera range, a partner comes to the rescue. |
 The National Academy of TV Arts honor the show's cast and producters with a luncheon meeting at popular Jimmy's restaurant. Among those toasted were (l. to r.) Ilene Kristen, Michael Hawkins, Faith Catlin and Helen Gallagher--all except Mike making thier daytime debut. |
Rosalinda Guera plays "Ramona Gonzalez." a strong willed head nurse at "Riverside Hospital." The actress has appeared in many off-Broadway productions and currently played in Love Song at the Back East Theater, a respected acting arena in Manhattan. |
