The Arcades
Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back arcade machines
were produced by Atari in the early eighties, in both a vertical
cabinet version and a fully-enclosed cockpit-style machine which is
more highly sought after. A Return of the Jedi machine followed from
Atari, boasting colourful rasterscan graphics viewed from an isometric
angle. Also, more recently, Sega produced the Star Wars Arcade game,
much like the X-Wing game, but with a more arcadey feel and a two-player
option.
