Cookies Stained Glass Candy

Recipe Ingredients


16 oz package semi sweet choc. pieces
1/4 cup butter or margarine
3 cups (assorted colors) tiny marshmellows
1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts






Recipe Directions


In saucepan, combine the chocolate pieces and the butter or margarine. Cook and stir over low heat until melted.
Remove from heat...cool
Stir in marshmellows and 1/4 cup of the nuts. Divide the mixture in half. Shape each half into a 6 inch long roll. Roll each in the remaining nuts. Wrap in waxed or clear plastic wrap. Chill thoroughly, about 2 to 3 hours. Slice into 1/2 inch slices. Store covered, in fridge.
(I chill and store for a long period in freezer).

This is not only delicious, it is very pretty and will add color to your table .
Great for the holidays.
