1 15oz can Kidney beans, rinsed
1 15 oz can Garbanzo beans
1 medium onion, thinly sliced and separated
into rings
Any one of the following:
1 15oz can Lima Beans
1 15oz can Green Beans
1 15oz can yellow beans
1 15oz can Wax beans
Marinade
2/3 cup vinegar ( I like wine vinegar)
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp garlic salt
salt & pepper to taste

Mix all marinade ingredients in a large bowl or shake in a quart jar.
Add beans. Chill at least 6 hours, overnight is best. You can serve with marinade or drain before serving.
This is a delicious tangy side dish that you can use your imagination and make your own special combination of vegetables. You can try any vegies such as bell pepper, cauliflower,asparagus or tomato.
The recipe doubles easily.
