Gods ego trip

Ok I always sort of wondered why God needs US to praise Him! Why the ego trip.

One tip off, covenants with God are strictly one-way. We cannot have a covenant with God. He does have them with us.

So basically we have a sort of one-way relationship. Not unlike the kids (dad can I borrow the car).

 God wants us to get to know him.

 He is the perfect being!

He is the most true, just, pure, lovely and praiseworthy of beings. Does that sound familiar?

 

What God is asking us to do is think about everything that is true, just, pure, lovely and praiseworthy.

Sort of puts what we do and see into perspective!

I know that what I watch on TV has changed radically!

I have further cleaned up my language and thoughts, hay I am still a sinner with a long way to go.

Phil 4:4-9
