Channels Dishnetwork |
|
Most IRDs currently use a transport IC manufactured by SGS/Thompson.If a chip is SMD, it means that it doesn't have pins that go through the PCB, but are soldered directly to the component side using special equipment.Glitches on the first attempt each time using boot!! |
Not only is it the smallest one (approximately 3 x 3 inchs) but from the layout of itUnder normal conditions, your CAM (conditional access module [card]) is sent commands that tell it what channels you are allowed to watch. The HU has some pitfalls (Alas, as does the H card, so do your homework!!!)Do not use unless you know what you are doing, or someone who knows what their doing, told you to. |
HU CODE -- Code that you program in the un-looper's atmel chip to be able to do HU cards. In essence, the card and receiver have "married" each other. Also note, the buttons you use to REBOOT are the ones on the IRD (receiver), not the remote control. |
