With the 4th generation and newer, the model distinction translates as follows: 1=Silver, 2=Gold, 4=Platinum, 6-Para Tados. The manual will add either a 1 or a 5 to the number printed on the back of the IRD on 4th generation and newer models. For example, the manual will state E11/E25, but the name plate on the unit will show E1 and E2 respectively.When you tune to a channel, it is encrypted. |
