In a manger long ago.
And shining angels sang a song
To let the shepherds know.
C is for the Christ Child.

When only twelve years old.

In spite of wicked men.
Because of this, they had him cast
Into the lions' den.

A beautiful maid;
Who, when she was queen,
Her cousin obeyed.

And sold him, too, one day.

And the children, waving palms,
Scattered flowers in the way.

Over the hillsides covered with snow.

Of saying this is Christmas Day.
