Unlock Dark Chao Garden:

You must raise a Dark Chao with one of the three ''Dark'' characters. Continually feed and train your Dark Chao and soon it will evolve (creates a tear-shaped ''cocoon''). Once it evolves, the descending stairs should appear at the main Chao lobby leading to the Dark Chao Garden.

Unlock Hero Chao Garden:

You must raise a Hero Chao with one of the three Hero characters. Continually feed and train your Hero Chao and it should evolve (creates a tear-shaped ''cocoon''). Once it evolves, ascending stairs should appear at the main Chao lobby leading to the Hero Garden.

Last stage:

Beat both Hero and Dark side story modes. Now re-enter story mode to find the Last Stage option.

 

Boss Attack Mode:

Beat either the Hero or the Dark side story modes. Here you will be able to fight each boss from either the Hero or the Dark side.

 

Full Pause:

When pausing press and hold the Y and X buttons.

 

Get Alternate Costumes:

Finish all of the characters (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, etc.) missions. Then you will get another costume for two player mode.

 

'A' Rank Assured :

Another way to get an 'A' rank on each stage is to collect every ring on that stage. It should say 'Perfect' next to your ring count at the end of the level and you will have an 'A' rank.

Play as a Chao:

Simply beat all of Tail's missions with rank A to unlock Chao in multiplayer.

Chaos Chao:

To acquire the immortal Chaos Chao your chao must have metamorphed at least twice (cacooned, duh). After the second metamorph feed your chao one of each animal. When it next metamorphs it will be the immortal Chaos Chao.(unless your chao dislikes you)

Faster Chao Mating:

Upon feeding your Chao a Heart Fruit (which can be purchased on the Black Market) your Chao will either be ready to mate or very nearly so.

Planting Trees:

First you need to win all the beginner races. Then you will acquire the shovel and water pail. Head to Chao Kindergarten and press B at the black locker, thus accessing the Chao black market. Purchase any kind of tree seed you want and return to the Chao garden. Give the seed to your Chao and in about 30 seconds or so you will see a "!" pop-up above its head. Your Chao will begin digging, dancing and sprinkling. Visit a couple of times and then give your Chao the type of fruit that falls from the tree you are trying to plant. This should do the trick.

About 3/4 of the way down when you are running away from the truck look on the right sidewalk to see him running away.

Radical Highway

After going in one of the rockets look at the blimp to the left and he will be sitting on it.

Pumpkin Hill

Go to the area where the train is stuck (it's going back and forth) and he is behind one of the gates waving to you.

Cannon's Core

With Rouge, go to the top of the highest pillar in the main room and look up. He's jumping up and down. 5. When you're battling against Shadow with Sonic in the Green Forest area there is a grate. Look down in the grate and you can see Big fishing.
