Finish story mode under easy difficulty.

M2 Rune:

Finish a versus mode match with four human players.

M3 Rune:

Finish story mode under normal difficulty.

M4 Rune:

Finish ten cooperative multi-player matches.

M5 Rune:

Finish twenty versus mode matches. But you can't attain these in cooperative games.

M6: Rune:

Finish twenty cooperative multi-player matches.

M7 Rune:

Finish fifty versus mode matches. But you can't attain these in cooperative games.

M8 Rune:

Finish story mode under hard difficulty.

M9 Rune:

Finish the game with all four characters under any difficulty.

S1 Rune:

Finish the first group of four levels in survival mode. The S1 Rune will help your MP regenerate.

S2 Rune:

Finish the second group of four levels in survival mode. The S2 Rune helps you move faster.

S3 Rune:

Finish the third group of four levels in survival mode. The S3 Rune will help your HP regenerate.

S4 Rune:

Finish the first group of four levels in expert survival mode. The S4 Rune doubles your physical defense.

S5 Rune:

Finish the second group of four levels in expert survival mode. The S5 Rune doubles your physical attack.

S6 Rune:

Finish the third group of four levels in expert survival mode. The S6 Rune gives you unlimited MP.

Expert survival mode:

Finish the game in survival mode.

Unlock Captain Dax:

Finish the game in survival mode under beginner difficulty.

Unlock Raja:

Finish the game in survival mode under intermediate difficulty.

Unlock Mariah:

Finish the game in survival mode under advanced difficulty.

Unlock Kai:

Finish the game in survival mode under beginner difficulty in hard mode.
